A baby is born with
a hundred billion brain cells waiting to be connected together
by neural pathways. The baby does this at an amazing rate and is
capable of creating more brain connections within the first year
than at any other time of life. They do this through play and
discovery using their five senses – Hearing, Sight, Touch, Taste
and Smell.

Brainy
Bairns offers guided play sessions for babies aged 0- 12 months, and
toddlers 1-2 years, designed to promote early learning. Our classes are
fun, jolly times, with lots of music, singing, colourful toys and games.
Babies soon get to know the rhythm of the classes, starting with their
baby yoga stretches and ending with their “Goodbye Children” song.
Babies have quality one to one interaction with you, with the added
benefit of all those other babies and their grown-ups to socialise with.
Brain Bairns welcomes Mums, Dads, Grandparents or carers keen to enjoy
playing to learn with their own Brainy Bairn.
